About Lois Bajor
Timeless paintings inspired by life, memory, and place.
Lois Bajor is a fine artist working in oil, watercolor, and pastel. Her paintings are shaped by close observation, travel, personal history, and a lifelong attention to color, pattern, light, and atmosphere.
Her work often reflects the quiet poetry of everyday life ā birds, interiors, figures, landscapes, tropical forms, and remembered places. Whether intimate or expansive, each painting is created with care and a sense of presence.
After the disruption of Hurricane Helene, Lois returned to the studio with renewed focus. The paintings now emerging carry that sense of return: thoughtful, resilient, and deeply connected to memory, beauty, and place.
Lois studied at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts and Parsons School of Design, and has spent many years as both an artist and teacher. Her background includes fine art, design, travel, and a long engagement with the stories that images can preserve.
Original paintings are available for purchase by collectors who value art with warmth, history, and lasting presence.
