I welcome selected commissions for collectors who are drawn to my way of seeing—paintings rooted in memory, place, color, pattern, and atmosphere.
A commissioned painting may begin with a meaningful home, garden, landscape, treasured object, travel memory, family place, interior, or figure. My goal is not simply to reproduce a photograph, but to create an original work of art that captures the spirit and feeling of the subject.
Every commission begins with a conversation. Together we discuss the subject, size, medium, color palette, mood, and location where the finished painting will be displayed. Reference photographs may be used when appropriate.
Because each painting is individually designed and painted by hand, commissions are accepted on a limited basis. I take on projects that allow room for interpretation, artistic judgment, and the creation of a work with lasting beauty and meaning.
